Movin’ on Up:
From High School to College

Finally, you’re a Senior…. Graduation is right around the corner and in a matter of months you’ll be packing up and shipping out, embarking on the most exciting time in your life… And the scariest. Thrust into a new environment, with none of the comforts of home, unfamiliar faces abound. How will you handle this next stage of your life?

Studies have shown that the freshman year of college, a time of significant transition, is correlated with high incidence rates of depression and anxiety. Academically, the college environment is extremely challenging and all too often, students are unable to meet such high demands.

Students are asked to do a lot their first year - make new friends, learn to live independently, and perform well academically. To make this transition a little easier, Eric Barron Live conducts workshops to help these young adults (and their parents) make the acclimation process less daunting. Topics covered during these 60-90 minute, interactive sessions include:
  • Communication & Interpersonal Skills
  • Introductions and Networking
  • Time Management, Prioritizing, & Goal Setting
  • Attitude & Energy
  • People Intelligence
Getting the proper jump start to your college career is essential. Eric Barron Live will help make this transition less daunting and will arm you with essential skills needed to hit the ground running.
